WW Development, an affiliate of Hartford Homes, can now develop lots ranging from 8,400 square feet to 55,000 square feet. The average lot size in the subdivision will be about 16,500 square feet.
Development on the new lots will begin during spring with new homes coming on line in late summer or early fall. Homes will range in price from $500,000 to $750,000 depending on lot size and location.
The 282-acre subdivision has 108 homes already platted. The overall density is slated for 1.2 units per acre with 75 acres of the project containing parks and open space.
WW Development submitted its expansion plans for Wildwing in May 2014. Timnath Town Council unanimously approved a preliminary plat for the expansion in August.
"It's certainly been a long process, but we're excited and proud of what Wildwing will look like when it's built out," said Landon Hoover, president of Timnath-based Hartford Homes. "In an era of small lots, limited open space and the economic realities of today, Wildwing is truly unique in its offerings."
